Cyberfirst

This week, a cohort of year 8 girls delved into the CyberFirst Girls Competition.  This event aims to ignite interest in technology among young women and encourage them to consider a career in cyber security.  Girls from schools across the country joined in, working in teams of up to 4.  They spent the day navigating through challenges spanning cryptography, logic, artificial intelligence, and networking, all competing for the prestigious title of cyber security champions.

The room buzzed with enthusiasm as these girls took on a variety of challenges, demonstrating their skills across different difficulty levels,  They’ve stacked up an impressive score, but the competition is ongoing, set to wrap up on November 30^th.  The anticipation for the results run high among the participants.
