SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION FORM (SIF)
The admissions process for entry to Year 12 in September 2024 requires all applicants seeking a faith based priority, including siblings, to complete a Yavneh College Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) and a SIF.
The link to submit the Online SIF can be found under Further Information below. The CRP should also be downloaded, completed, signed, then scanned and emailed back to Mrs L Foreman, Admissions Officer at admissions@yavnehcollege.org by 31st Jan 2024. Please do not send in the hardcopy.
CERTIFICATE OF RELIGIOUS PRACTICE (CRP)
In view of the Supreme Court ruling in respect of Jewish schools, Yavneh College is no longer able to give priority according to Jewish status. Instead, the School will give priority to those who meet a religious practice test based on guidelines from the Chief Rabbi.
Those applicants wishing to be considered as priority applicants for available places need to obtain a certificate establishing religious practice, based on the child’s synagogue attendance, Jewish education and/or family communal activity.
If sections 2 and 3 of the CRP need to be completed, applicants must make the necessary arrangements to ensure verification of the CRP, by the individuals concerned.
It should be noted that the CRP does not confirm that the child is Jewish in accordance with Jewish law.
