Year 10 Trip to Balliol College (University of Oxford)

Year 10 “Aim High” students visited Balliol College (University of Oxford) today. The day included a tour of the college by a current undergraduate student, eating packed lunch in the college Dining Hall, an admissions talk/Q+A with the school liaison officer and finally a study skills workshop with a current PHD student looking at the nature of History. It was an inspirational day for the students who were able to gain a real insight into the nature of life and study at Oxford. Hopefully today’s visit will inspire many of our Year 10 students to apply to Oxbridge in a few years time….
