VAWG (violence against women & girls) Year 13 boys discussion group
On Friday 29th November, a Neighbourhood Team Sergeant from Hertfordshire Police spent the day at Yavneh running discussion groups for Year 13 boys about VAWG (violence against women and girls). The talk was delivered to all boys in Year 13 in small groups. The talk focussed on how these young men can stand up for women and be active bystanders and what they themselves can do to make women feel safe and how their interactions with women need to come from the standpoint of safety.
