On 25th January, as part of their work with their local community, we were again visited by local magistrates Sandra Clark and Stephen Pam to address all Year 9 pupils about the role of magistrates, the impact of criminal activity and the process and procedures of a court case. The presentation included a “mock” trial and thirteen Year 9 pupils participated in this.
